Is it safe on dental work?
Yes, the products used are vegan/ plant and mineral based. They have enamel building properties that can help protect your teeth. Veneers and caps can also be whitened to the original color.
Who can have teeth whitening?
There is no age requirement for this procedure.
Will it cause sensitivity?
Drinking plenty of water will help to prevent tooth sensitivity. Teeth whitening dehydrates the teeth and is the cause of tooth sensitivity. A desensitizing treatment is done before the session and is taken home in case it is needed after the appointment. If any sensitivity arises it should end within 24 hours. This is why it is important to continue drinking water after the treatment too.
Before Your Appointment
No brushing or flossing 4 hours before the appointment. This can cause irritation of the gums

What to Expect
The appointment lasts 90 minutes and that includes 3, 20-minute sessions under the laser. A desensitizing treatment is done first followed by a gel application before each treatment.
Typically, you can see a 4-8 shade difference
Results can last anywhere from 3-6 months depending on how well you maintain them and lifestyle. You can purchase a Redefine Whitening Foam to increase the longevity of the results as well.
